A little heads up from the front lines. Monmouth University is holding on their decision right now since they don't have full support from the Advancement Office (and they were planning to split the costs). In particular, Advancement was "disappointed" that they could not track donor name and address information on the scholarship records. More specifically, they want to track multiple donor contacts for each of those scholarships. I will be speaking with their Advancement VP about this in more detail, but I'm sure their need is centered around the ability to pull the Awards file and then send a mailing directly using that file. They use Raisers Edge, but getting the awards information back into that system seems to be beyond their ability or desired effort. Again, I'll get more information on the details to the objection.
