The institution has many scholarships that are institutionally funded, and don’t report the information to any donors, so they feel that they have no need to manage this information through stewardship. By default, the system will create a Fund for any Portfolio, so right now there is no way to keep these institutional scholarships from creating funds. The client would like the ability to tell the system which portfolios should have corresponding funds in stewardship management.
