Currently the only type of link you can put in this field is a regular URL, which doesn't appear to be consistent with the footer links on the SM page.

For example, I could put a footer in that says Contact us and link it either to a website OR to
<a href="mailto:mary.trautman@blackbaud.com">

However, in this new STM Contact Us field, I can only put a website.

The client should be able to just put an email address here in case they don't have a webpage with a contact us type form or a page that just lists out their phone number, etc.
